Pop-up Campers Van, Truck and Tent Travel Trailers

A family of four can sleep comfortably in the trailer, especially if the kids are young enough to sleep in the same bed.

The basic unit has two fold outs, that are used as sleeping quarters. The main part has a small dinette, a storage area and a cooking area with a tiny refrigerator. Generally there is an outdoor shower and a grilling area.

Notice a toilet is not mentioned. The low end pop-up trailers dont have them. Many people use portable toilets for emergencies and use the campground facilities otherwise.

The higher priced campers often have cassette toilets a shower better cooking facilities and some have a slide out extra room to give you extra living space. The extra room is a boon when everyone is stuck inside due to inclement weather. Remember to pack some games and toys for the kids and a good book for yourself.

Your family should have no problem eating and sleeping in the pop-up as long as you dont have to stay indoors for long periods of time. You are protected from the elements by heavy duty canvas and a metal rook.

One problem new RV-ers have with their pop-ups, is backing into your campsites. Take it slow and have someone guide you in or choose a pull through campsite.

The only other major expense you will have is the cost of the hitch, which is less than 500 dollars. The increased consumption of gasoline is minimal and your insurance and tolls for your camper is much less than it would be for high end RVs.

Our first camper was a Coleman pop-up that we bought used. We used it for two years and had a blast. It was sold to a friend when we bought a camper van.

If you arent sure about whether you would enjoy RV-ing and dont want to hassle with having to get the RV back to the dealer by a certain time, get yourself a used pop-up and I guarantee you will be hooked on RV-ing.

To get discounts on campground and RV rentals as well as RV parts you should join the Good Sam Club. The club also provides a discount RV insurance and an excellent roadside assistance program. This group also has message boards where you can ask questions and make life-long friendships.

There are dozens of websites where you can find places to rent or buy a pop-up camper-trailer. You can also look in hunting or other outdoor sports magazine want ads for used campers.

Auction sites like E-bay often have pop-ups listed either for direct sale or as an auction item. If you shop wisely you can save big money here on your used trailer.

Coleman is one of the manufacturers of pop-ups a.k.a. fold out trailers. They have been in business since 1978. You cant go wrong with one of their campers.

The pop-up actually has some advantages over the bigger more luxurious motor homes. The camper is easier to maintain and store. Also once you get to your campsite and set up, the tow vehicle can be used to go sightseeing, shopping or to visit local attractions. You cant park a big motor home in front of the local mini-mart.

Cost-wise the care, maintenance and use of a pop-up is cheaper than the bigger mobile homes. Enjoy your pop-up camper trailer.

Don't Expect To Earn Fast Money Online

I've spent the last three years working towards actually earning money online. In most of that time period though, the money has been leaving my wallet faster than it has been coming into my wallet.

"EARN MONEY FAST OPPORTUNITIES"

In my first year online, I tried all kinds of "earn-money-fast opportunities" --- everything from MLM to turnkey websites. I hate to admit this, but if I didn't make any money the first couple of months after I had signed up for one of these programs, I just gave up and moved on to the next opportunity.

Then I would begin the whole process all over again. I found a new site that promised to all who joined, that they would earn a lot of money fast, and they would earn their money without hard work.

I know the truth now, it was just another line of bulls**t!!!!

Twelve months later, all I had to show for my first year online, was many wasted hours and lots of wasted money.

THE MAKING OF A WEBSITE

As I began my second year, I realized that I had to make my own website. I didn't know anything about HTML. And, I knew nothing about where to find a hosting company, or even why I needed one. So the first six months of that second year, I was learning the basics of how to become a webmaster. I read through all the forums about web-mastering and SEO that I could find on the Internet, and tried to build a website that finally could make me some money.

I finally got my website up and running.

For the first 8 months that I had my website, I did not earn any real money for all of my hard work. The worst thing that could happen to a person began to happen to me... I began to lose hope. I began to believe that making money from the Internet was just a far-fetched dream that I could never attain on my own.

I was not alone. Hundreds of thousands of people have met or will meet this same crossroad in their Internet careers. Some will take the easy road and walk away from their dreams. Others will push on, not willing to let their dreams die.

I decided to push on.

I added new pages of content to my website every week. I exchanged links with other websites as often I could. Slowly and steadily, the visitors were starting to come to my little corner of the internet to browse and buy.

In the early stages, I had 30-50 visitors each day. Then, I began to see 100-150 a day. And soon, the first small amount of money was earned through my website.

Now it's 4 months after my first payday, and the traffic is still getting higher each week. Even though I'm not earning a whole lot of money now, I believe it's just a matter of time until I can leave my day job.

THE FIRST LESSON LEARNED

Looking back on these last three years, I have learned a few things that I would like to share with you today.

First of all, you should never join any of those scam sites that claim you will make a lot of money fast without working hard.

The cold, hard truth is that there is no way that you can make money online unless you are willing to work hard!

The next time you read about an opportunity where the promoter is telling you that you will not have to work hard to be successful, Stop! Stop and ask yourself "how hard this person is working" to part you with your money?

What about that email opportunity you are reading, where this anonymous person is telling you that you will not have to send other people email in order to make money? If he is being honest with you about the nature of his business, why did he have to send you an email to get Your business? If his way is best, why is it that he is not practicing what he preaches?

You have to approach new programs with your eyes wide open! Be willing to read between the lines to see if the promoter is lying to you to part you with your money. Be willing to research on the internet what other people have said about the program that you are looking at. Be willing to discover and separate the people who are trying to sell the program, from the people who are giving you an honest appraisal of the program, from the people who are just complaining about everything to hear themselves talk.

In the end, it comes down to this. If you get involved with one of the myriad of scam opportunities floating around out there, you will end up spending all of your money with zero rewards in your pocket for your time or effort.

THE SECOND LESSON TO BE LEARNED

Find a niche product to sell or promote. And then make your own website. If you don't know anything about how to become a webmaster, use Google to find forums about the subject. Or, you can buy a ebook about web-mastering.

Don't expect to earn much money the first year your website is online. Look at it as your learning period. Be persistent and don't take any shortcuts. It takes time to build a money making business, whether you make your business online or offline.

And finally, try to have fun while you are working on your website. It's much easier to become successful if you like the work you are doing.

Good luck!

Should You Use A Fictitious Business Name

When forming a business, it is often difficult to come up with a name. Many people just use their personal name, but a fictitious business name filing provides other opportunities.

When naming your business, it is often smart to assign your own name to it. This is particularly true if you are offering services. Mark Johnson Plumbing adds a certain personal touch that gives a feeling of credibility. You Plug It, We Drain It works well also, but doesnt have quite the same personal feel. With your name on the business, people know who is ultimately responsible. If you deliver quality services, this is a positive development. If you get angry customers, it can be a regrettable decision.

So, what if you do not want to use your own name for the business? Well, you can form a business entity with a different name. In this case, we are talking about a corporation, LLC or other form. In such situations, you simply select an alternative name for the entity and submit it with your organization papers to the Secretary of State for your state. A well known example is Nike, a play on the original owners name Phil Knight.

Many people dont want to go with the formality of a corporation or LLC. So, what can they do? Well, you can still use a catchy name. The way to do it is to file a fictitious business name statement. The statement usually asks you to provide a business name and the person or company behind it. You usually file it with your country of state. Once filed, you then must publish it in a local newspaper for 30 days or so depending upon the requirements in your area. Once this is completed, you can use the business name, open a bank account and so on.

Fictitious business names are a very common practice in the business world. Mom and pop businesses use them as do larger publicly traded companies. The total cost of getting a fictitious business name should cost you no more than a hundred bucks or so.

The Importance Of Good Pre-Diabetes Information

Type II diabetes has now reached epidemic proportions according to the Center for Disease Control and that means that there are literally million of people walking around today not just with type II diabetes but, more importantly, with as yet undiagnosed diabetes or diabetes which is in its early stages of development.

This early stage type II diabetes, during which blood sugar levels are elevated but not raised sufficiently to warrant a diagnosis of diabetes, is known as pre-diabetes and, although it may not appear to be of serious concern, studies show that, even at this early stage, permanent long-term damage is being done, especially to the circulatory system and to the heart. Pre-diabetes currently affects over 50 million Americans.

Because pre-diabetes does not present any symptoms, the only way to tell whether or not you are suffering from it is to ask your doctor to test for the presence of the disease. Now, since we cant start testing the whole population this leads to the question of just who is most likely to be at risk from pre-diabetes. Well, in simple terms, if you are over the age of 45 and are overweight (and this mean not just grossly overweight but even modestly overweight) then you should consider asking to be tested. If you are under the age of 45 and are again overweight then testing may also be advisable but, in this case, you should discuss this with your doctor and be guided by him.

Testing is a fairly simple process using one of two standard tests a fasting plasma glucose test or an oral glucose tolerance test. These tests will indicate whether your blood glucose levels are normal, pre-diabetic or diabetic.

The good news is that, if your test reveals that you are pre-diabetic then bringing your blood glucose levels back down to normal and returning your body to a good state of health and forestalling the onset of diabetes is generally quite simple.

Although medication can be used to correct pre-diabetes, tests have shown that a simple program of diet and exercise, combined if necessary with a relatively modest weight loss, can often return blood glucose levels to normal quite quickly and, as long as you maintain a healthy diet and an exercise program, there is no reason at all why your blood glucose level should not remain at normal levels for a considerable period of time. This does not of course mean that you will eliminate the risk of developing type II diabetes altogether, but it does mean that you can delay its onset and prevent early and irreparable damage to your circulatory system and heart.

When we talk about a program of weight loss and exercise here we are not talking about anything too drastic and a reduction in weight of as little as 5% to 10% and a light exercise program of say 30 minutes of brisk walking 5 times a week can be sufficient.

Pre-diabetes is a serious problem which is both easy to detect and simple to treat. All that we are really lacking at the moment is sufficient publicly available pre-diabetic information.

Ways To Prevent Identity Theft From Happening to You

Identity theft is one of the most common crimes in the world today. Unfortunately, identity theft can be devastating to some victims, leaving many with very low credit scores. This can affect their ability to buy a home or a car in the future, along with other types of things which come along with having good credit. Overall, identity theft is not something which you will want to have to deal with in your future. This is the main reason that learning ways to prevent identity theft from happening to you is so important to your financial future and security.

Although there are many things that you should know if you are interested in how to protect yourself from identity theft, the most important thing is that you should realize that you should never give out too much information about yourself. Whether it is on the internet or on the telephone, you should always know the limit. The general rule of thumb is that you should never tell anyone on the phone or internet anything that you would not tell a stranger. Giving out sensitive information about yourself, such as your social security number, is an absolute no-no. The only people who should ever need your social security number are your employer, the IRS, the DMV and certain financial institutions which will need it for credit checking purposes. Nobody else should ever be given it.

Another one of the things that you should always keep in mind is that people can easily pretend to be someone that they are not, whether it is on the phone or on the internet. One common example is when "phishing" emails are sent to you, asking for you to verify information for a specific company. This also can work through the use of the telephone. When you question the company about whether they have emailed or called you for verification purposes, you will most likely find that they have not. This is the reason that you need to be so careful about info that you share both online or on the telephone. You are not always dealing with who you think you are.

One common mistake that many people make is not shredding their mail or credit cards. Garbage picking is one of the most common ways that identity thieves choose their victims. This is why it is so important for you to make sure that you shred all personal information before throwing it in the garbage. You can purchase a shredder at your local office supplies store for about thirty dollars.

Only carrying information which you need in your wallet is something which you should always think about. Carrying credit cards may be necessary, but chances are that you do not need your social security card at all times. Think about what you really need at the moment and whether or not you want to risk it if your wallet should get stolen.

Lastly, you should always remember that the internet is a very common place for identity theft to occur. The main key is not giving out any personal information about yourself. You should also not keep anything stored anywhere that hackers can find it, whether it is on your own personal computer documents or if it is an email address that you thought was private.

Team Development - Easier to Start from Nothing?

Is it easier to have a bunch of people that are brand new to a team, or one that you mould from those you inherit?

In my business life I only had the latter. An existing group of employees, in each business who I had to work with, from each new day one. Never a new set that I could grow for myself.

There are different challenges in each case.

With an existing team you have to challenge and change ideas and behaviours set in their ways, unchallenged, sometimes for years. You run the risk that they have had poor experiences of what good quality performance is - or, as they say, what 'good looks like'. This may not be good at all - not necessarily their fault though as no-one showed them differently!

In every business management I had, the outgoing manager was either leaving the business, retiring or being demoted. In one store I managed I was the first manager to be promoted out of there since the war!

That meant that whilst I had the numbers in place with some experience, it was quite a challenge to ensure that they came on board quickly, with what my own ideas of good performance and business delivery were.

Like a new football manager, I had to gradually change the personnel until they fit the team I wanted, with the exception of those who were prepared to change and develop. However, there were rare opportunities to transfer anyone out and definitely not for a fee. Occasionally someone might seriously transgress (like the supervisor who, I found out, regularly sent her staff out to the supermarket to do her weekly food shop for her - in business time - I demoted her to the ranks and she never showed up again!).

In developing a new team from scratch, the challenges are still significant. Their skills and understanding of organisational processes can be lacking, especially if new recruits to the organisation. Yet these individuals aren't tarnished with poor behaviours, inherited from past underperforming models in the management hierarchy.

The easiest? I don't know, as I never had a brand new team. Yet, in both cases, it is vital to set in stone standards that are clearly stated and as rigid as necessary to deliver the quality outputs the business needs. In both cases it is vital that the incoming manager is able to be the best example possible.

Then sticking firmly to the path, with consistency, fairness as well as building trusting relationships is the only way to success. There will be ups and downs, with failures and omissions, but this will guide you through successfully in the end.

With such a template, both types of team will work well and deliver outstanding results.
